The following are some of the things we are into at the moment (subject to change without notification)

Science Fiction and Fantasy 

Check out the links page for the Sci-Fi Club.  We all read quite a lot of Sci-Fi, particularly Billy Sticks.  Favourite authors include: Douglas Adams, Peter F. Hamilton, Terry Pratchett.  Bryan and Billy are into their e-books - check out the links page for where you can download free e-books.  Most of our favourite movies are Sci-Fi such as Starship Troopers.  Billy is big into Stargate and owns the entire series on DVD.  We also avidly watch Star Trek - such a bunch of geeks!

Music and going out  

You'll find us almost every weekend at the Doors nightclub, sometimes at Night Fever or pub hopping around Melville.

Fishing

We all enjoy fishing.  Bryan is a particularly great fly fisherman and the rest of us tag along and attempt because it is a great excuse to sit outside doing nothing and drinking all day.

Beer!!

Black Label is the TIMI beer of choice.  We also drink Hunters Dry and are well known for our excellent cocktails and shooters at house parties.  Another party favourite is Jelly Tots (tot glass set with jelly and spirit of choice - eg Strawberry jelly with Rum, Lemon jelly with Tequila, etc)  Riki drinks the occasionally red wine or gin and tonic and Bobby Hellbilly loves his South African Harrier whiskey.

Dancing

We all do Latin American and Ballroom dancing, its actually how we met.  Fred Astaire Randburg organised an outing to the Drakensburg which we all went on.  We met playing pool into the wee hours.  The following year the excursion was to Carnival City.  That was where our friendship was cemented through drinking games, whacking aliens and bouncing balls!
